New result for ADAC GT Masters event in Oschersleben

The result of the opening round of this season’s ADAC GT Masters, which took place on 23rd April in Oschersleben, has been corrected retrospectively, following a ruling by DMSB officials. The #22 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Allied-Racing has been disqualified after the conclusion of follow-up technical examinations.

A routine fuel sample taken from the #22 Porsche after qualifying for the first race of the season, which was then analysed in a laboratory after the weekend, failed to comply with the standard 98-octane fuel, as specified in the regulations. A second analysis of this sample in another FIA-approved laboratory also confirmed the significant deviation from the reference sample.

DMSB officials dealt with this breach of the rules on Thursday afternoon, during the second round of the German GT Championship at the Red Bull Ring, and disqualified the car from the qualifying and the opening race in Oschersleben. The competitor has announced that it will appeal against the decision of the officials. Owing to the announced appeal, third place in race one of the ADAC GT Masters will not be allocated until the result of the appeal process is known. The lower-placed competitors are not to be promoted.
