New team: Eastalent-Racing enters the fray with an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II

New team, new car, and a highly-motivated team: Eastalent-Racing, which was formed in December 2021, will go in pursuit of points with great vigour in the team’s first season in the ADAC GT Masters. Sharing the driving duties in the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II will be Norbert Siedler (39/A) and Simon Reicher (22/A). The two Austrians are an established pairing, having raced alongside each other in the German GT Championship for the past two years. This season’s ADAC GT Masters gets underway from 22nd to 24th April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. TV station NITRO will broadcast all the races live, from 12:30 on Saturday and Sunday.

Norbert Siedler made his ADAC GT Masters debut in 2011, and this year lines up in his seventh season. “Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to test the new Audi. Delays in delivery mean it will not be available to us until the official test in Oschersleben. However, we have a good team with experienced engineers and mechanics. We will not be challenging for the title in our first season in the ADAC GT Masters, but we want to finish in the top ten and in the points,” says the experienced GT specialist, summing up the team’s goals for the season ahead.

His young partner, Simon Reicher, was a regular starter in the ADAC GT Masters with Yaco Racing for the first time last season, having previously made guest appearances in 2019 and 2020. The team lined up at six of the season’s seven events. Prior to this, Kirchberger had raced in ADAC TCR Germany. His father, Peter Reicher, owns the independent Eastalent-Racing team and is confident that his team has a successful future ahead of it: “We are coming into the ADAC GT Masters with a highly-motivated team. We are putting our faith in the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II and Austrian drivers Simon Reicher and Norbert Siedler. We are passionate about motorsport, and want to show that in the 2022 ADAC GT Masters.”
