The Joos Sportwagentechnik team presented its livery for the coming German GT Championship season last Sunday, exclusively on ‘PS on Air – The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters Talk’. The Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by former champion Christian Engelhart (35/Starnberg) and youngster Ayhancan Güven (23/TR) will line up in a bright yellow and blue design.
“Our car has a really cool design,” says team principal Michael Joos. “We have extended our partnership with Twin Busch Germany this year, which is why they are prominent on our car. I was born in 1991, which is why we have gone for the start number 91. The car is currently on its way back from Dubai, where we took part in the 24-hour race at the start of the year. As soon as it is back in our hallowed halls, we will begin the final preparations for the season ahead.”
“I can hardly wait to see the design in the flesh and, of course, to drive the car,” added Engelhart. “I really like the bold colours, which help the car to stand out from the rest of the field. The chemistry between Ayhancan and me is good. We make a strong team and I am glad we will soon be racing together in the ADAC GT Masters. It is sure to be a great season.”
