The Remchingen-based team has announced its second driver pairing for the 2022 ADAC GT Masters season: Dennis Marschall (25/Eggenstein) and Kim-Luis Schramm (24/Meuspath) will again line-up for Rutronik Racing in the German GT Championship, and will share the driving duties in the new Audi R8 LMS Evo II with the start number 27. The team from Baden-Württemberg had already revealed Luca Engstler (22/Wiggensbach) and Patric Niederhauser (30/CH) as the drivers for its number 15 car.
Marschall and Schramm paired up last season and made it onto the podium at the Red Bull Ring. Marschall has been a member of the Audi Sport customer racing squad since 2021 and will this year contest his fourth season with Rutronik Racing in the ADAC GT Masters. Schramm made his first appearance for the team in 2021 and narrowly missed out on the title in the Pirelli Junior competition by just half a point.
Team principal Fabian Plentz on continuing to work with the two drivers: “I am pleased to see the continuation of the Marschall/Schramm pairing. They demonstrated their potential last year with their first podium. The goal for the coming season is to build on that and to play a bigger role at the top of the overall standings.
