From Talent Pool to Porsche Junior trial

Great news for Bastian Buus: the 19-year-old from Talent Pool in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland has been nominated to attend the trial to become the new Porsche Junior, where he will represent the German one-make cup. Since 2018, the Carrera Cup has cooperated successfully with the ADAC and holds the majority of its races at ADAC GT Masters events. The ADAC has also been a partner of the Porsche Talent Pool since the start of this season, through which it promotes the development of talented youngsters in motorsport.

Bastian Buus claimed his maiden victory at this year’s race weekend in Imola. The Dane made it onto the podium in eight of the season’s 16 races. The Allied-Racing driver ended the season in fourth place overall. The Bavarian team also lines up in the German GT Championship. Last season, Allied-Racing lined up with former Porsche Junior Sven Müller at the wheel of its Porsche 911 GT3 R. Ayhancan Güven is another Porsche Junior who benefitted from two years of support from the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer. Güven made the step up to the ADAC GT Masters in 2022. The driver from Team Joos Sportwagentechnik ended his first season as runner-up in the championship, alongside Christian Engelhart.
