ADAC GT Masters returns to SPORT1

SPORT1 is back as live TV partner of the ADAC GT Masters. Germany’s leading multi-channel sport platform to show all ADAC GT Masters races live and in full. ADAC GT4 Germany will also be live on SPORT1.

The ADAC GT Masters will be back on free-to-air TV on SPORT1 in 2023. The sport platform will broadcast all twelve races live and in full. As well as the ADAC GT Masters, SPORT1 will also provide live coverage of the races in ADAC GT4 Germany. Like the DTM, both series will be shown on Sport1.de, the SPORT1 apps and on SPORT1 social media channels. The new ADAC GT Masters season gets underway on 10th and 11th June at Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg as part of the “Festival of Dreams”, which marks the 75th anniversary of Porsche sports cars.

ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser: “In the past, SPORT1 delighted a large fan community with its live coverage of the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany. We are pleased to have both series back on SPORT1 this year. As well as the programmes on SPORT1, we are also bringing our digital offering up to date and will again stream the races from the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany on YouTube this year.”

Annika Rody, Director Media Rights at Sport1 GmbH: “The return of the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany to SPORT1 sees us strengthen our offering in the field of motorsport with the addition of two very attractive racing series. Motorsport fans can look forward to many exciting race weekends with extensive live coverage on free-to-air TV this year, which we will also show on our far-reaching digital platforms.”

The ADAC GT Masters heads into the 2023 with a strong package. With the “Festival of Dreams” in Hockenheim, an outing at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, and four starts together with the DTM, including the highlight of the season at the Norisring, all six rounds that comprise this year’s calendar will feature at events that attract big crowds. A total of around € 570,000 in prize money and non-cash prizes awaits the most successful competitors.
