Landgraf Motorsport enters its third ADAC GT Masters season in 2023. The team of last year’s champion Raffaele Marciello has turned to the services of some familiar names: Finland’s Elias Seppänen and Salman Owega from Cologne will share the cockpit of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. Both drivers have already established themselves in the ADAC’s iconic GT3 series. The ADAC GT Masters returns to the racetrack from 9th to 11th June as part of the “Festival of Dreams” at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. TV partner Sport1 is showing all twelve of this season’s races live and in full on free-to-air TV.
“The ADAC GT Masters is an integral part of the racing programme at Landgraf Motorsport. With Elias and Salman, we have a very strong junior car on the grid this year. We want to challenge for the title again. We are very motivated going into the season, and can hardly wait to get started this weekend at the Hockenheimring,” says team principal Brice Bosi.
Having made his debut last season, Seppänen is back behind the wheel for Landgraf Motorsport again in 2023. The 19-year-old has set himself the ambitious goal of winning the title: “I gained a lot of experience with the team in the ADAC GT Masters last year. With my new team-mate Salman and a strong team, I am confident that we will be in contention at the front of the field. The goal for 2023 is clear: we want to challenge for the title.”
Owega also goes in pursuit of success with Klaus Landgraf’s team. “I am really looking forward to lining up with the ADAC GT Masters champions at Landgraf Motorsport. Together with Elias, we have a very strong package. A new challenge awaits me, with the new team and the Mercedes-AMG. I am confident that we will get good results this year,” says the 18-year-old from the Rhineland region of Germany.
