Three weeks before the start of this season’s ADAC GT Masters, Haupt Racing Team has completed its plans on the driver front. Jannes Fittje and Max Reis will occupy the final two seats for the team from the Eifel region of Germany. The reigning Team champion thus lines up with six promising and talented youngsters in the realigned sprint series. All three Mercedes-AMG GT3 will compete in the “Silver Cup”.
Jannes Fittje joins youngster Finn Wiebelhaus in the number three car. Fittje previously started for Haupt Racing Team in 2022. Despite his young age, he can call on years of experience on the GT racing scene, from which his new team-mate will hopefully benefit. At the wheel of the number five Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be South African Kwanda Mokoena. His team-mate is another GT3 newcomer, Max Reis. The 17-year-old comes from Formula racing and claimed a podium for the ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team in last year’s French Formula 4 championship. The pairing of Salman Owega and David Schumacher was announced a month ago.
