HP Racing International is the third team to announce that it will be making a guest start at the coming ADAC GT Masters event at the Nürburgring. The outfit from Isernhagen will field a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix. At the wheel of the bull from Sant'Agata Bolognese will be Coach McKansy and Austrian Gerhard Tweraser.
Tweraser lined up in a Lamborghini for the Grasser Racing Team at round two of the season in Zandvoort. “It is fantastic to be involved again after my spontaneous outing earlier in the season. I particularly value the high standard in the series and am eagerly looking forward to the event,” says the driver from Bad Ischl. McKansy will be making his debut for the team in the Eifel Mountains: “I have wanted to drive in the ADAC GT Masters for a long time. I am delighted to be taking this step into such a professional championship with HP Racing International and my team-mate Gerhard.”
The team from Lower Saxony is returning to the ADAC GT Masters after several years away. Back in 2015, Harald Procyzk drove a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 with support from Sweden’s Andreas Simonsen and record DTM champion Bernd Schneider. After that, the team continued to race on the ADAC platform, winning the ADAC TCR Germany title with Procyzk in 2018. The Austrian is now focussing on his role as team principal.
