FK Performance Motorsport will line up in its third season in the ADAC GT Masters in 2025. Having finished runner-up last year, the team is hungry to challenge at the top again this season. The new BMW M4 GT3 EVO will be driven by Tim Zimmermann from Langenargen and South African Leyton Fourie.

Both drivers will be making their debuts in the coming season. 28-year-old Zimmermann has driven for three different manufacturers in the ADAC GT Masters, and has two race wins to his name. He has also gained a wealth of experience in international motorsport. However, the German is yet to line up at the wheel of a BMW in a GT3 series.

“The team and professionalism convinced me that this is a good idea. Anyone behind the runner-up in the championship must have done a good job. That has been more than confirmed by my initial dealings with everyone on site,” says a delighted Zimmermann, looking forward to working with FK Performance Motorsport.

Team-mate Leyton Fourie lined up for the team in last year’s ADAC GT4 Germany, and ended the season in second place in the Junior class. He is now taking the step up to the fiercely-competitive ADAC GT Masters. The 19-year-old is looking forward to continuing to work with FK Performance Motorsport and BMW.

“Both have given me fantastic support and prepared me for the challenges of the ADAC GT Masters. I am very grateful for that,” says the South African. “Our goals are initially for me to make a smooth transition into the GT3 class and to feel at home in the car. As soon as we have achieved that, the main goal is to aim for the front of the field and to be consistent, as we have seen how important that has been in the past.”

FK Performance Motorsport first entered the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany in 2023, since when it has enjoyed many successes. The team will now continue its involvement in both series in 2025, with more details to be announced over the coming weeks.
