Where can I purchase tickets for ADAC GT Masters races in the 2021 season? Tickets can be purchased at adac.de/motorsport. Entry is free for children aged eleven and under. However, as visitors, a personalised ticket costing € 0,00 must be booked for them.
When can I purchase tickets for the race at the Sachsenring? Tickets for the race at the Sachsenring can be purchased at adac.de/motorsport and adac.de/gt-masters.
Tickets are already on sale for my preferred race. Does this automatically mean that spectators will be permitted at the circuit? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this. However, tickets can be ordered with no risk: should official requirements mean that it is not possible for spectators to attend races, or for this only to be possible to a certain extent, the tickets can be returned or exchanged for tickets for a different event.
What must I note before travelling to and attending an event? Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide a general statement here. We are in constant contact with the respective, local authorities. We will release information on local hygiene and infection prevention regulations here, as soon as these are agreed with the respective authorities.
What happens if a race, for which I have purchased tickets, has to go ahead without spectators? In this case, we will inform all ticket holders by E-mail. You will then have the option of receiving a refund for your ticket, or exchanging it for a ticket for a different race.
Please ensure you specify the correct E-mail address when booking your ticket, and check your Spam folder now and then!
FAQ TICKETING SACHSENRING
What restrictions are in place for those visiting the ADAC GT Masters race at Sachsenring in 2021? Due to the current legal situation, admission to the event can only be permitted if spectators can prove that they have been vaccinated, have recovered or have tested negative (3G rules). Additional information on the 3G rules can be found in the respective section below.
Where can I purchase tickets for the ADAC GT Masters race at Sachsenring? Tickets can be purchased at adac.de/motorsport. Children and young people up to 12 years of age will be admitted free of charge, but for them a personalized 0.00 € ticket must also be booked.
Can I buy tickets on the gate? From Friday, October 1st, tickets can also be purchased on site. Tickets can be purchased online at adac.de/motorsport. Online ticket sales will remain open throughout the event.
Which stands are open? There are no existing stands. The entrance and the box office will open at the following times:
Friday from 08:00
Saturday from 08:00
Sunday from 08:30
What must I note before travelling to and attending the event? Persons with cold symptoms are asked to refrain from participating in the event at all costs. We are entitled and obliged to exclude persons with cold symptoms or in case of violation of the 3G rules.
Why is personal data recorded? Each ticket must be personalized with the name, email address and/or phone number for contact tracing purposes. This data is collected for contact tracing purposes only, is not stored in any other context, and is automatically deleted and destroyed 28 days after the event.
What hygiene regulations must I observe at the circuit? Hand sanitizers will be set up to comply with hygiene regulations and should be used. Food and beverages will be available for sale as part of visitor catering.
Can I be tested at the circuit? There is a DRK rapid test center open on Goldbachstraße in the immediate vicinity of the box office.
Must children also be tested? Children up to the age of six do not need to be tested. Children over the age of six need to be tested, unless it can be proven that they are tested at least twice a week at school as part of the school's COVID-19 protection measures. As proof of this, it is sufficient if a certificate signed by the parent or guardian can be presented confirming the negative result of a self-test carried out without professional supervision.
I have been vaccinated. What must I do? Fully vaccinated persons have access upon presentation of the digital vaccination certificate on the cell phone or in paper form.
I have recovered from a coronavirus infection. What must I do? Convalescents without vaccination require valid written proof of Covid-19 disease, valid for 6 months from date of issue. Outside of this period, convalescents must continue to carry a negative COVID-19 test (see paragraph 3) or are considered fully vaccinated with the first vaccination received (regardless of manufacturer).
Is it necessary to wear a face mask? Masks are compulsory in all enclosed areas and where it is not possible to maintain the minimum distance. Masks are compulsory and marked in other areas (tunnel, spectator bridge, pit roof). Please observe the corresponding signs.
Are there reductions on the price of tickets for the event? Disabled persons (at least 50% degree of disability) pay a reduced price upon provision of a corresponding ID. Accessible places for wheelchair users and their companions can be found in the main stand. Persons accompanying wheelchair users also receive reduced-price tickets. The corresponding ID must be presented as evidence upon entering the site.
ADAC members also receive a 10% discount on tickets. To receive this discount, they must provide their ADAC membership number as evidence.
Entry to the event is free for children aged 12 and under. However, a ticket must still be purchased for € 0,00. It must be possible to prove the age of the children at the circuit.

Is it possible to sit anywhere in the stands, or must exact seats be booked? There are no existing stands.
Will it be possible, as a spectator, to gain access to the paddock? Yes, we are pleased to welcome spectators in the paddock again at the Sachsenring.
Will there be a pitwalk? Yes, we are pleased to be able to offer a pitwalk for spectators again at the Sachsenring. The exact times can be found in the schedule.
Is there a programme? Free flyers with the most important information for the spectators will be handed out at the entrance, unfortunately there is no program booklet.
Are there video screens? Yes, spectators in the infield will not miss a second of racing action on the two video walls.
3G RULES
TESTED PERSONS
What requirements must the test meet? The Covid-19 test can be a PCR or rapid antigen test, which was performed at the earliest the day before the first access to the event site.
How can I prove that I have been tested? Upon entry to the event site, you must prove that you are recovered, vaccinated or tested (3G rule). Written proof of a personally assigned negative Covid-19 test (PCR or rapid antigen test) is considered proof of negative testing and must be carried with you. Please follow the on-site signage for this.
Please note that the test performed must be no more than 24 hours old at the time of initial entry to the event site.
Who does not require an entry test? Persons who have already been fully vaccinated or have recovered. More information can be found under "Persons are vaccinated" and "Persons are recovered".

VACCINATED PERSONS
When is one classed as vaccinated? You are considered vaccinated when you have proof of vaccination that confirms the presence of a complete protective vaccination against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
How must you prove that you have been vaccinated? Proof of vaccination includes presenting the EU digital corona certificate in the official Covid app or showing the vaccination record (yellow booklet).
If you have only received one dose of the vaccine, does that count as being vaccinated? No, one is not considered vaccinated until one has received full protection. Only in the case of vaccinations where only one vaccination is scheduled (e.g. Johnson & Johnson) are you already considered fully vaccinated after the first vaccination..
How do I prove that I have been vaccinated? In order to activate the ticket and enter venue, proof of vaccination must be presented at the entrance to the grandstand. Please follow the signs on site for this.
PERSONS WHO HAVE RECOVERED
When are you classed as having recovered from coronavirus? You are considered recovered if you have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by PCR within the last 6 months. If the test date is more than 6 months ago, you no longer count as a recovered person. Outside of this period, recovered persons must continue to carry a negative COVID-19 test or are considered fully vaccinated with the first vaccination received (regardless of manufacturer).
How can I prove that I have recovered from coronavirus? In order to unlock your ticket and enter the grandstand, proof of recovery from a Covid-19 infection must be shown at the entrance to the grandstand. This proof must not be older than 6 months. Please follow the signs on site.
