The small town of Aichwald will host the fourth round of the ADAC MX Masters Championship on June 23rd and 24th. The track only a few kilometers away from Baden-Württemberg's regional capital Stuttgart is well prepared for the racing weekend ahead. The 1,755 kilometers long track underwent some changes and riders can look forward to an elevated course with eleven jumps.
Some of European's best riders are gearing up for it. Current Championship leader Marcus Schiffer (Suzuki Silent Sport) will have to tackle some of the finest World-Championship riders like Xavier Boog (Kawasaki Racing Team Pfeil), Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe riders Petar Petrov and Harry Kullas or Romain Febvre (KTM Bodo Schmidt Motorsport) and Valentin Guillod (KTM Scott Racing).
It is still not decided yet if 2009 MX1 World Champion Max Nagl (KTM Sarholz Racing) will return to the MX stages after his back injury. Doctors will advise on short notice if the 24-year-old is ready to race. But he will be on site anyways to greet his fans and take part in the Autograph session on Sunday.
Among the 290 riders from more than 20 nations are four women only. Multiple Womens MX World Champion Steffi Laier is throwing down the gauntlet in ADAC MX Masters class and Italien talent Chiara Fontanesi, German darling Larissa Papenmeier-Picoto and Selina Schittenhelm will challenge the male riders in ADAC MX Youngster Cup. Qualification races will take place on Saturday from 1pm onwards, races will commence on Sunday at 11.30 am.
