ADAC MX Masters features attractive prize money: 230,000 euros in prize money over course of season for quickest riders

The ADAC MX Masters is appealing to riders in many ways. On the one hand, there are important points to be secured by the motocross stars in the battle for titles in both the ADAC MX Masters championship and in the International German Motocross championship, whilst on the other hand, sizeable winnings are also up for grabs. Once again in its anniversary year, participants in Europe's most popular motocross series are in line for generous prizes and major bonuses. A total of 230,000 euros in prize money will be shared out during the course of the season. The amount paid depends on results. In addition, the year's top ranked riders will receive an end-of-season bonus, plus further prize monies are on offer to the manufacturer with the most wins and to the team with the best results.

But there are many non-cash prizes in the ADAC MX Masters that can be just as lucrative. These bonus awards are given to riders primarily for their speed. The rider who laps fastest in class at the first turn (Hole Shot) receives the Red Bull Holeshot Award and can look forward to a special prize from Red Bull at the awards ceremony. Also, each winner of this award secures points towards the overall standings. Two VIP tickets for a Red Bull Special Event, including an overnight stay for two people are awarded to the year's fastest rider in the line-up after the season's last race. There is also a Red Bull Cooler on offer which is refilled each month with energy drinks. As from this year, all Hole Shots will be posted as short film clips on the Internet at www.adac.de/mx-masters.

The Golden Tyre Fastest Lap Award is aimed exclusively at the young guns in the ADAC MX Junior Cup. The two trainee riders, who produce the best laps of the race weekend will each receive a set of new tyres.

But it's not just the top achievers in the ADAC MX Masters who are rewarded. The Goldfren Last Chance Contest and a separate Privateers' Trophy exist to recognise riders in the race series who either participate without belonging to a team or who were not able to qualify directly for Sunday's race. In the Goldfren Last Chance Contest, the achievements of the fastest ADAC MX Youngster Cup rider and the quickest ADAC MX Junior Cup rider in the Last Chance race are recognised with a set of new brakes. A total of 5,000 euros, divided up among the top five, is shared out pro rata among the privateers at the end of the season.
