ADAC MX Masters to be shown on MOTORVISION TV: Regular TV coverage of all races in the 2014 season

The ADAC MX Masters anniversary year could not have got off to a better start, with Europe's most popular motocross series now set to be televised. MOTORVISION TV will be broadcasting a 30-minute magazine-style programme of highlights including every ADAC MX Masters championship moto plus accompanying commentary. In addition to the race reports, there will be background information and interviews from the paddock. The first of these broadcasts goes out at 5pm on 4th May.

MOTORVISION TV was set up in May 2009 as a niche channel within the Sky pay-TV network (Germany: Sky Welt-Paket; Austria: Sky Starter; Switzerland: Teleclub) focusing on cars and motorsport, the first of its kind in Germany. ADAC MX Masters-Magazin will also be available via MOTORVISION HD in 14 other countries in Europe and further afield, including France and Romania (Orange TV), Greece (ote TV) and Thailand (true visions).

"As seems appropriate in the anniversary year of the ADAC MX Masters, we have taken Europe's most popular motocross series to the next level by getting it shown on TV," says Lars Soutschka, ADAC Director Motor Sports and Classic Divisions. "Motocross is a spectacular sport that appeals to a youthful and cool generation, which means it is perfect for MOTORVISION TV. Television coverage yields clear added value for sponsors, riders, teams and fans alike. Our thanks go to the programme managers at our new TV partner as well as to our series organisers who have made this possible." Raimund Köhler, CEO at German Car TV Programm GmbH which runs MOTORVISION TV, is equally excited about the new partnership: "We are looking forward to this high-calibre racing series that complements our range of motorsport on Sunday race days, and we wish all competitors the best of luck for a successful season in 2014."

MOTORVISION TV offers round-the-clock entertainment based on car racing and motorsport in general plus other fun sports. In various magazine formats, the channel covers the latest developments, test results and innovations from the world of motorised mobility. The MOTORVISION TV portfolio also includes live coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the world's most popular motor-themed programme, 'Top Gear' from the BBC.

The Motorvision Group has also sold broadcast rights for its ADAC MX Magazin show to ProSiebenSat.1-Welt, an international channel for Germans abroad which can be received in the USA via satellite and in Europe via IP-TV.
