Motor Sport Club Gaildorf has received two special honours at an ADAC event held in Munich. The motocross division of the club, which dates back to 1926, won awards in the Best Track category and for Best Organisation of an ADAC MX Masters event in 2014. The prize is worth €1,000. Resident ADAC motorcycling expert Dieter Junge presented certificates to the directors of MSC Gaildorf, Sven Wolpert and Ralf Schwed. At the end of each race weekend, the riders, teams and series organisers award marks for the performance of the respective host. Gaildorf, which is located just outside Stuttgart, came out top in the eight events held this season.

Last year, the club won in the Best Organisation class. In the 2014 campaign, the superb preparation of the Auf der Wacht track for the ADAC MX Masters in August earned glowing praise. The achievement has now received official recognition. Head of ADAC Motorcycling and Motorcycle Coordination Dieter Porsch: "We rated the track organisation on such things as scrutineering, race office efficiency and even the bike washing facilities. The teams and riders also gave the track layout and the surface preparation excellent marks. We congratulate the club on this success. We also appreciate how much work is involved in an event of this magnitude, and our thanks therefore go out to all the other organisers of ADAC MX Masters events during this past year."

In the 2015 season, MSC Gaildorf will be staging the grand finale of the ADAC MX Masters on the weekend of 4th to 6th September. The ADAC MX Masters is about to become even more attractive for competitors. In the 2015 season, the ADAC will be increasing the prize money pot from €230,000 to €260,000. This will particularly benefit the two classes for budding young talents - the ADAC MX Junior Cup and ADAC MX Youngster Cup. The starting line-up is often boosted by the participation of current or former World Championship riders. This year, for example, the crowds were delighted to welcome Max Nagl who competed in the 2014 World Championship for Honda.
