Bielstein becomes new venue on calendar: The 2015 ADAC MX Masters schedule has been finalised

The ADAC MX Masters has an interesting schedule for the 2015 season. Europe's most popular motocross series, attracting as many as 250 riders per race weekend, will stage eight events from April to September. There will be three different classes, according to age and engine capacity. The junior class, the ADAC MX Junior Cup, is open to riders aged from ten to 15, who contest six events. The ADAC MX Youngster Cup for 14 to 21-year-old riders and the main class, the ADAC MX Masters, compete on eight weekends. The series will start its eleventh season in 2015.

As in previous years, the season opens in Fürstlich Drehna and its sandy track will present the first challenge after the winter break. The opener, from April 11th to 12th, is then followed by Jauer in Saxony on the weekend of May 2nd-3rd. Five weeks later, riders travel to Bielstein in the Sauerland. The Bielstein forest track is one of Germany's oldest motocross circuits. ADAC MX Junior Cup riders will miss Bielstein, and only the ADAC MX Masters and the ADAC MX Youngster Cup will be staged. The motocross circus then moves on to Aichwald in the Stuttgart area. The hilly, clay 'In den Horben' track is a real crowd magnet on the ADAC MX Masters calendar.

Tensfeld in Schleswig-Holstein will host the European motocross elite, July 18th-19th. The track is one for the sand specialists. The ADAC MX Junior Cup will not be contested at this event. The ADAC MX Masters will again guest outside of Germany's borders when the Austrian track at Ried stages its race weekend (August 8th-9th). Two weeks later and motocross continues as riders tackle the clay grass track at the well established Holzgerlingen circuit near Stuttgart. This year's season finale takes place just 92 kilometres to the northeast of Holzgerlingen when Gaildorf marks the conclusion of the ADAC MX Masters season (September 5th-6th).

Registration for the respective events is possible online at www.adac.de/motorsport, commencing December 1st, 2014.
