The organisers of the ADAC MX Masters are pleased to announce a new major sponsor for the motocross series. Online store 24MX (www.24mx.de) has secured prominent banner advertising and a presence on all promotional materials for the race series now into its eleventh year. Stocking more than 2.6 million products, 24MX is Europe's biggest retailer of motocross equipment. Following the extension of the contract between the ADAC MX Masters and long-term partner Red Bull for 2015 and 2016, 24MX now lines up with series main sponsors Motul, Suzuki and ADAC Young Generation.
Further new support in the series comes in the shape of Italian sports goods manufacturer UFO Plast. From the 2015 season onwards, UFO Plast will be providing team clothing for the competition organisers, featuring strongly in the banner advertising and donating prizes in the two-stroke class. The ADAC MX Masters is Europe's most popular motocross series and attracts well over 200 entrants in three classes. It is contested over eight weekends, six of which will be held in Germany, one in the Netherlands and one in Austria. The family-friendly ticket prices help to pull in an average of 10,500 spectators per event.
The ADAC MX Masters also enjoys the support of other brands: KTM, Honda, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Kawasaki, VW, Goldfren, Zürich/Racing Policy, Ortema, Magura, MEFO, Leatt Brace, Golden Tyre, MCE, Cross Magazin and Motorrad. Series partner Motul offers special oil packages to riders, while the last-chance race gives all contestants the opportunity to enhance their racing experience, squeeze into the finals and also win a Goldfren brake set. The competitor who posts the fastest lap in the ADAC MX Junior Cup is rewarded with a set of racing tyres supplied by Golden Tyre, and the Red Bull Holeshot trophy is awarded to the best starter in all classes at the end of the season. Safety considerations also get a look in, with the winners of the ADAC MX Junior Cup and the ADAC MX Youngster Cup receiving a voucher from Ortema for an orthosis or a neckbrace.
The total prize money pot for 2015 has risen from last year's €230,000 to €260,000. The increase particularly benefits the classes for younger riders - the ADAC MX Junior Cup and the ADAC MX Youngster Cup - but the main ADAC MX Masters title is still as attractive as ever, with €15,000 going to the new champion.
