Motor Sport Club Gaildorf has made it a hat-trick: for the third consecutive year, the venue on the outskirts of Stuttgart has picked up the ADAC MX Masters award in the Best Organisation category, beating off competition from Eiserne Hand in Aichwald and MCE Tensfeld. "It is an honour to present MSC Gaildorf with their third award for best organiser on the ADAC MX Masters race calendar," said ADAC Motorcycling Coordinator Dieter Junge at the prize-giving ceremony which was timed to coincide with a meeting of the ADAC MX Masters organising committee in Munich on Thursday. "The club has put in a great performance which deserves our maximum respect. This is symbolised by the award for best organiser which comes with a cheque for 1,000 euros."
MSC Gaildorf also came out on top in the Best Track category. The beautifully prepared Auf der Wacht circuit impressed riders and fans in equal measure in 2015. After each ADAC MX Masters race weekend, riders, teams and stewards give a score for the overall job done by the respective organiser. Of the eight race venues during the past year, Gaildorf came in ahead of Drehna and Jauer. Jauer made an immediate entry to the Top Three after a complete rebuild of their track. Meanwhile, Drehna's decision to experiment with changing track direction met with the approval of contestants.
"We are thrilled to have been voted best organisers of an ADAC MX Masters event for the fourth time in a row," said Ralf Schweda, President of MSC Gaildorf. "I am proud of my team, because getting to the top in the first place is already a major achievement, but to stay there and to be selected as winners in the Best Track category for two years is fantastic."
Tickets are already on sale for the 2016 ADAC MX Masters season. They can be purchased online via www.adac.de/mx-masters.
