A motorcycle needs decent suspension and technology that works, but most of all, it needs dependable tyres, and that´s exactly where Maxxis come in. The tyre company is one of the top-ten largest tyre manufacturers in the world with around 30,000 employees and has made a name for itself for both motorcycle and car tyres. The company has been active in motocross since 2006. For example, world championship riders, including Tommy Searle from Dixon Racing Team and four-time ladies motocross world champion Steffi Laier, are sponsored by the tyre manufacturer.

Maxxis became a partner of the ADAC MX Masters in 2016 – a real pet project for Maxxis marketing manager Lothar Heddram: "Supporting the ADAC MX Masters is very exciting for us. The race series is known throughout Europe and is just one class below the world championship. Through our sponsorship, we aim to engender confidence in all classes, in the ADAC MX Junior Cup, the ADAC MX Youngster Cup and in the ADAC MX Masters. Our goal in the ADAC MX Masters is to prove that we offer high-quality tyres for both off-road and on-road use."

Heddram himself has been involved in motor racing since 1982 and feels a close connection to the sport. "It´s precisely because I know what factors are vital to be successful in a race that I find working with the ADAC MX Masters is just great. We have various motocross tyres in our range and offer high quality products, so you could certainly say that our tyres contribute greatly to having a well equipped bike," concluded Maxxis manager.

And Dieter Porsch, ADAC Director of Motorcycle Racing and Motorcycle Coordinator, also welcomed the new partner to Europe´s most popular motorsport racing series, saying: "One of our priorities is to continually drive forward people´s awareness of the series and its attractiveness. We have an ideal partner in Maxxis. Maxxis are a reputable company, who go about their business with the same enthusiasm that we demonstrate." In addition to the ADAC MX Masters, Maxxis are also involved in motocross youth development. The tyre manufacturer became a partner of the ADAC MX Academy in 2016.
