MSC Gaildorf named best organising club: Gaildorf achieve top marks in ADAC MX Masters for organisation and track

Munich: Motor Sport Club Gaildorf eV has done it again. To mark the end of the 12th season of the ADAC MX Masters, the old-established club which has been in existence since 1926 was voted 'best organiser' for the fifth time in a row. In addition, the club's Auf der Wacht circuit near Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg also won the 'best track' category for the third time in a row. These awards are based on marks given by teams, riders and the series organisers, who scored the performance of each organising club after ADAC MX Masters meetings.

This makes MSC Gaildorf one of the most successful organising clubs of the ADAC's popular motocross race series to date. "We’re mega happy about the fifth star. I couldn’t be certain who would achieve top marks this year, as there were some good clubs taking part, and I actually expected someone else to win. We’re thrilled to bits and are now really looking forward to next year," said Ralf Schweda, Member of the Board at MSC Gaildorf on receiving the award. No other club in the history of the ADAC MX Masters has ever scored as highly. The ADAC's advisor for all things to do with motorcycles, Dieter Junge, presented the awards certificates on Thursday at ADAC headquarters in Munich, saying: "MSC Gaildorf are to be congratulated for their excellent achievement, but I would like to thank all the clubs concerned for their tremendous commitment and for the many hours club members have put in voluntarily."

Apart from MSC Gaildorf, MCC Möggers eV, who came second and third-placed MCE Tensfeld eV also received certificates for their superb organisation. MSC Fürstlich Drehna eV received the runner's-up award for best track while the North German Tensfeld motocross club were third again in this category.
