ADAC MX Masters·9.2.2017

Press accreditation for 2017 ADAC MX Masters: Accreditation possible up to one week before each race weekend

The ADAC MX Masters is gearing up for the start of its 13th season which is only eight weeks away. The season opener takes place on the weekend of 8th and 9th April in Fürstlich Drehna. So far, more than 380 riders from 26 countries have enrolled for the 2017 ADAC MX Masters. Many talented motocross aces from all over the world will be back again this year. German fans will be pinning their hopes on three-time ADAC MX Masters champion Dennis Ullrich (23, KTM Sarholz Racing Team), on the 2015 German champion, Mike Stender (25, Team Castrol Power 1 Suzuki Moto-Base), on 2016 German champion Christian Brockel (32, KTM GST Berlin) and on Henry Jacobi (20, STC Racing), who has also achieved a great deal of success. Up-to-date details concerning riders in the regular line-up in all three classes will be available for your scrutiny on 17th February at www.adac.de/mx-masters.

The international championship series will again be contested over seven race weekends during 2017. The season opener is traditionally staged by MSC Fürstlich Drehna at their circuit to the south of Berlin. Three weeks later, the motocross elite will head to the hard-surface Am Hahneberg track of MC Jauer before coming together again just two weeks later at MSC Mölln’s Grambeker Heidering circuit. For the rest of the season, there will then be an ADAC MX Masters meeting every four weeks. MSC Drabenderhöhe-Bielstein will organise the meeting on the 17th/18th June. The following month, 15th/16th July, riders contesting the motocross race series will take to the ‘sandpit’ at Tensfeld to prove their skill. Teams and riders will go head-to-head at the Auf der Wacht circuit run by MSC Gaildorf in Baden-Württemberg on the last weekend of August. The final round of the season will be held at Holzgerlingen, 23rd/24th September.

Accreditation to the ADAC MX Masters is possible as of now. Journalists and media representatives must first register their interest at www.adac-motorsport.de/accreditation before applying for accreditation and upload current documentation or their application on headed notepaper at least one week before the start of the meeting. The online accreditation portal can be accessed in either German or English. For security, passwords giving access to the online portal expire after three months. A new password can be requested via the ‘forgot password’ function on the website.

Media accreditation entitles journalists/media reps to take photographs only. Please direct your requests for TV and online video clips as well as for radio interviews to Nina Schröder, our Press Secretary, well before the event.
