The ADAC MX Masters has a strong field of entrants for the 2018 season. More than 350 riders from 23 countries had signed up for a season in one of the four classes of the motocross racing series by the February 12th closing date. It was very pleasing to note the popularity of the new ADAX MX Junior Cup 125 class which underpins the series along with the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85. The lists of entrants in all four classes are now available to view at adac.de/motorsport. The 14th season of the ADAC MX Masters will kick off on the weekend of 21st - 22nd April at Fürstlich Drehna.
Two of Germany's best motocross riders will go head-to-head in the top class of the ADAC MX Masters during the seven meetings. World champion and three-time series championship title-holder Max Nagl (TM Racing) will challenge four-time title winner Dennis Ulrich (2-Stroke Revolution Racing). World championship riders Hunter Lawrence (KMP Honda Racing) from Australia and Latvia's Matiss Karro (Monster Energy Kawasaki ELF Team Arrow) are among those who have registered to contest this season's ADAC MX Masters.
The ADAC MX Youngster Cup is the class that has attracted the highest number of entries with some 96 young talents between the ages of 14 and 21 signing up for a place at the starting gate in 2018.
Forty-eight riders will compete in both the Junior Cup 85 cc class and in the 125 category. A last chance race will not be held for the youngest talents contesting these two categories. Forty riders in each of the two classes have been selected on the basis of their sporting achievements to date. Who gets the remaining eight positions will be decided during an assessment course towards the end of March at Teutschenthal's world championship circuit. The course, to which more than 90 riders have been invited, will take place under the expert supervision of former world championship riders, Marcus Schiffer, Bernd Eckenbach and Dietmar Lacher.
Guest entrants can now select which meetings they wish to attend and are invited to submit their applications online at adac.de/motorsport.
