Change to the 2018 ADAC MX Masters itinerary: This year's grand finale now on 22nd/23rd September at Holzgerlingen

A late change to the motocross world championship calendar has necessitated modifications to the itinerary of the 2018 ADAC MX Masters. To avoid a clash of dates with the World Championship weekend (25th/26th August) at Sevlievo in Bulgaria, the race planned for Teutschenthal has had to be postponed. The only suitable alternative date at Teutschenthal coincided with a booking by KFV Kalteneck/Holzgerlingen for an event forming part of the DM Open.

These circumstances, together with problems caused by the rescheduling, led the committee at MSC Teutschenthal to conclude that they would have to drop out of hosting the ADAC MX Masters this year. Holzgerlingen has agreed to step in as a replacement for Teutschenthal. KFV Kalteneck e.V. will now be organising the grand finale of this year's ADAC MX Masters on the weekend of 22nd/23rd September.

It is fortunate that an organiser as experienced as KFV Kalteneck e.V. has come forward. "Our thanks go to KFV Kalteneck, who volunteered their services as ADAC MX Masters event organiser at very short notice," says Thomas Voss, Head of Motorsport and Classic Communication at ADAC. "This won't be the first time we've visited Holzgerlingen, and we know that we are going to see a first-class event there. We would also like to thank MSC Teutschenthal. We all regret that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to stage a race on their circuit in its unique valley setting, and we wish the club every success in its MXGP race on 19th/20th May."
