2019 ADAC MX Masters with plenty of stars: More than 350 entrants in the four classes of the ADAC MX Masters

The 15th season of the ADAC MX Masters will start in seven weeks' time with the first race of the year on the weekend of 13th/14th April in Fürstlich Drehna. Once again, over 350 riders from all around the world have submitted entries in the four classes. Demand in the junior classes, the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 continues to be high as is also the case with the top class, the ADAC MX Masters.

No less than five German riders have a chance of winning the title in the ADAC MX Masters - Max Nagl (KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Dennis Ullrich (Husqvarna), Stefan Ekerold (Castrol Power 1 Suzuki Motobase), Tom Koch (KTM Sarholz Racing Team) and Mike Stender (Kosak Racing Team). Joining them in the fray will be international world championship riders Tanel Leok (A1M Husqvarna Racing), Matiss Karro (Husqvarna) and Jose Butron (JD Gunnex KTM Racing Team). Riders moving up from the ADAC MX Youngster Cup also intend to be among the front-runners. Roland Edelbacher (A1M Husqvarna Racing) and Richard Sykina (JD Gunnex KTM Racing Team) finished on the podium several times in 2018 and have already shown in a number of international races that they can be just as fast on 450 cc machines.

The entry lists for all four classes can now be viewed at adac.de/mx-masters. The remaining regular positions on the grid in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will be allocated at a scouting session to be held in Teutschenthal, 15th/16th March. More than 70 young riders have been invited along to the weekend and will be watched by top coaches and former top riders, Bernd Eckenbach and Marcus Schiffer, who will ultimately select the most promising young talents for the two junior series.

The ADAC's three off-road junior classes are held in high regard internationally and many of the world's most promising motocross talents will once again be taking part in 2019. 96 riders will compete in the ADAC MX Youngster Cup while 48 young hopefuls will contest the full season in both the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85.

As was the case last year, each weekend, riders will have to qualify for positions on the grid in the two races in a race against the clock. Qualifying in the ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup will also be possible via a 'Last Chance Race'.

Guest entrants can now submit their applications for the various races online at adac-mx-masters.de/online-nennung.
