Sensational news about Möggers ADAC MX Masters race meet (June 1st/2nd)! Motocross world champion Jeffrey Herlings (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) will compete in the Austrian round of the motocross series. This guest outing in the ADAC MX Masters will be the reigning world champion's first for some time on an MX bike. Injury has forced the 24-year-old Dutchman to miss the first half of the world championship season and Möggers will be the first time this year that he has been able to challenge the competition.
Motocross fans at Möggers can not only look forward to the comeback of motocross star Herlings, who started his career in the ADAC MX Masters and won the ADAC MX Junior Cup in 2008, two-time champion Max Nagl is also working on a comeback for the races at Möggers. Nagl has been able to train again on his bike for a few days now after recovering from a knee injury and would like to be at the starting line in Austria. "I will be able to ride at Möggers provided nothing unforeseen happens," said the Bavarian.
Apart from Herlings and Nagl, another motocross star is planning to be in the Möggers line-up. Jeremy Seewer from Switzerland has his sights set firmly on contesting the second race weekend of the ADAC MX Masters and will decide whether to compete in Austria after the world championship race in France this weekend.
The ADAC MX Masters at Möggers is one of the largest sports events in the area and draws huge crowds of spectators every year. Möggers is very close to the German border in the triangle of land where the three countries - Germany, Austria and Switzerland - meet. Practice out on track will start at 9:00 am on both days. Racing on Sunday will begin at 10:30 am. A weekend ticket costs 28 euros for adults, but if you only want to attend on one of the days, then the cost is 12 euros for Saturday and 18 for Sunday. Admission is free for children under 14. The ticket price for teenagers between the ages of 15-17 is 8 euros on Saturday, 12 euros on Sunday and 18 euros for the whole weekend.
