The ADAC MX Masters will start its 16th season in 2020, featuring eight race meetings in Germany and Austria. The series will be back at Aichwald's well-established circuit which now rejoins venues already familiar from this year. The season will open on Easter weekend (12th/13th April) at Fürstlich Drehna as is by now the tradition. The ADAC MX Masters will continue to have the support of strong partners next year. Red Bull have been ADAC MX Masters partners since its inception and will continue to sponsor the motocross series in 2020. Helmet producers LS2 and tyre manufacturer Bridgestone are set to become new series partners.
The ADAC MX Masters will start its new season on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday in the deep sands of MSC Fürstlich Drehna some 50 kilometres west of Cottbus. The second round will take place three weeks later on 2nd/3rd May at Grambeker Heidering in the very north of Germany for the fourth time in a row. On Whit weekend, May 30th/31st, the series will stage a round outside of Germany's borders in Austria on the grass track at Möggers with scenic views of Lake Constance. The ADAC MX Masters will return to a first-class organising club with a long tradition for the fourth race of the 2020 season. After a three-year break, the International German Motocross Championship will be held again at the circuit run by MSC Eiserne Hand Aichwald on 20th/21st June.
The second half of the season will get under way 11th/12th July on the Schützenbühlring at KFV Kalteneck in Holzgerlingen near Stuttgart to be followed just one week later by the second meeting in Northern Germany on the weekend of 18th/19th July at MCE Tensfeld. Man and machine will face a very different set of challenges at Tensfeld, as the sixth race of the season will take place on deep sand.
Bielstein marks the start of the most hotly contested phase of the championship when MSC Drabenderhöhe-Bielstein hosts the ADAC MX Masters for the sixth time, 29th/30th August. The club will pull out all the stops to create the perfect conditions for this seventh round of the season. The grand finale is scheduled to take place a fortnight later at Gaildorf, 12th/13th September. The natural setting of the Auf der Wacht circuit in a very historic part of Germany is very popular with both riders and spectators and will provide ideal conditions for an exciting finale.
