The ADAC has made changes to this year's ADAC MX Masters calendar in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Germany. The races scheduled to take place at Mölln on the first weekend in May have been postponed until the summer. Event organisers MSC Mölln eV and the ADAC have now decided to hold the Schleswig-Holstein meeting on the weekend of 25th/26th July.
Fürstlich Drehna has also been rescheduled. Racing in all four ADAC MX Masters classes will take place there 5th/6th September. Tickets already purchased for Mölln and Fürstlich Drehna will remain valid for the new dates.
The races planned for Aichwald in June have also been affected and will not now take place. A ban on events in Baden-Württemberg will remain in force until mid-June. In view of the restrictions currently in force, the huge amount of construction and preparatory work needed at the circuit cannot be done in time and it has proved impossible to find an alternative date due to the tightly packed race calendar in the second half of the year. As a result, the organising club, MSC Eiserne Hand eV Aichwald and the ADAC have decided that racing will not take place there this year and the ADAC MX Masters calendar is thus reduced to seven events.
Note for media representatives: Accreditation requests already made for Mölln and Fürstlich Drehna will still be processed and need not be resubmitted for the new dates.
