ADAC MX Masters·28.1.2020

Entry deadline for 2020 approaching fast: Registration for this year's ADAC MX Masters closes on 7th February

The ADAC MX Masters continues to enjoy great popularity as it enters its 16th season. The eight-race international German Motocross Championship is attracting a high-quality field of German and foreign riders to compete in the four classes of the 2020 series. With only two weeks to go before the entry deadline, around 250 contestants have already signed up to contest every event on the race calendar. They include top names such as reigning champion Dennis Ullrich as well as fellow Germans Max Nagl, Tom Koch, Stefan Ekerold and Brian Hsu. Also present in the line-up will be Jeremy Sydow who has graduated to the senior class after coming second in the 2019 ADAC MX Youngster Cup. Last year's ADAC MX Masters runner-up Pascal Rauchenecker together with fellow Austrian Lukas Neurauther, the Czech Republic’s Filip Neugebauer, Belgium’s Kevin Strijbos and 2019 third-placed finisher Tanel Leok have likewise already registered. Several guest starters from the MXGP Motocross World Championship are also expected to put in an appearance. The 2020 ADAC MX Masters season gets underway on the weekend of 28th - 29th March at Fürstlich Drehna in Brandenburg.

The springboard to the top ADAC MX Masters class is the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, and interest in this class is also high with around 80 entries so far. For 2020, the age limit for female contestants in this class has now been relaxed, meaning that those born in or before 2006 are eligible to compete. The aim is to encourage more speedy MX girls to compete against the boys at this level. Reigning ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 Champion Simon Längenfelder has made the step up to the Youngster Class for 2020.

There is an equivalent degree of interest in starting places for the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, two classes in which the star riders of tomorrow measure up to each other and develop their skills at an international level.

Riders who still wish to register for a full-season starting place in the ADAC MX Masters and the junior classes can do so until 7th February by visiting the web portal at adac-mx-masters.de/online-nennung/. Guest riders who do not intend to compete at all events or who wish to apply to the individual organising clubs for a one-off entry will be subject to special regulations when registering. After 10th February 2020, they will have the option of submitting their documentation up to two weeks before the respective race weekend.
