Entries for the 2023 season possible now. Division into permanent and guest riders is dropped. 96 starting places in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85.

Online registration for the 2023 ADAC MX Masters season is open now at adac.de/mx-masters. The previous distinction between permanent starters and guest riders has been done away with in all classes, simplifying the registration process and making it possible for participants to put longer-term plans in place for their racing seasons. Riders and teams have until 5th February 2023 to apply for starting places for both the full season and individual races. More changes to the regulations in all classes will come into force in the new year.

The goal is to support German Motocross youngsters. With this in mind, 96 riders per event will once again have the opportunity to test themselves at a top international level in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 in 2023. The Last Chance Race on the Saturday will give riders in the youngest class who do not qualify directly for the Sunday’s races another opportunity to progress and contest at least one fully fledged race on the weekend. The ADAC MX Masters retains its three-race format, with the first race on the Saturday afternoon. In the junior classes, a full programme will be on offer over the two days of the event. Riders with a B licence can now also contest a full season in the main class. From April to September, eight races will be held in the ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes, as well as six events in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, including an overseas race in Denmark. The ADAC MX Masters kicks off the new season with all four classes on 1st/2nd April 2023 in Fürstlich Drehna, in Brandenburg.

Fans can already look forward to an exciting season and an international field, including many top German riders, who have already confirmed their participation. Reigning ADAC MX Masters champion Max Nagl (D) has switched to the KMP Honda Racing team and is out to defend his title in 2023. 2018 champion Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) returns to the series from the Motocross World Championship and has his sights set firmly on the title. Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team), Stefan Ekerold (D/Team Bauerschmidt MB33), Tim Koch (D) and Lukas Platt (D/MX-Handel Racing) are other German riders who finished in the top ten last season and are also planning to start in the ADAC MX Masters. Adam Sterry (GB/KTM Sarholz Racing) also remains true to the series with the prestigious title “International German Motocross Championship”. Meanwhile, it will be intriguing to see how riders like Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Noah Ludwig (D/Becker Racing), who make the step up from the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, fare in their first season.
