Jauer confirmed as the host for the penultimate race. Free practice and qualifying practice to be separate in all classes. Entry for the 2024 season possible from 12th December.
The ADAC MX Masters enters its 20th season in 2024. From April to September, the series will stage eight races in the ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes, as well as six events in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 – all under the title “International German Motocross Championship”. MC Jauer e.V. has now been confirmed as the organiser of the last outstanding event on 31st August and 1st September. As such, every race of the 20th anniversary season will take place in Germany.
Fans can already look forward to an exciting season with a host of top German riders and an international field. Reigning ADAC MX Masters champion Max Nagl (D/KMP Honda Racing-Team) is back to defend his title in 2024. The field will also include another two established title contenders from Germany, in the form of Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), who is back from injury. Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) will be out to improve on the strong results they achieved in their rookie season. Jordi Tixier (F/ KMP Honda Racing-Team) is also remaining true to the championship with the title “International German Motocross Championship”, and is sure to be in contention for race wins and the title. In Tim Koch (D/VisuAlz Production), Stefan Ekerold (D/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna), Nico Koch (D/Becker Racing) and Lukas Platt (D/ KTM Sarholz Racing Team), more German riders who finished in the top 15 last season also plan to start in the ADAC MX Masters.
The three-race format, with the opening races on Saturday afternoon, has been retained for the ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 classes, two races will be held per weekend. Free practice and qualifying practice will again be run separately in all classes in 2024, which will be particularly beneficial to the riders and teams when it comes to the set-up work on their bikes. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, the number of starters per race weekend has been reduced to 48 riders.
Online registration for the 2024 ADAC MX Masters season opens at 18:00 on 12th December at adac.de/mx-masters. Riders and teams have until 15th February 2024 to apply for starting places for the full season and individual races. In the new year, the practice sessions will again be held separately in all classes.
