Top international field in four classes. Free livestream on both days. Supporting programme includes ADAC MX Academy, race party and autograph session.
The ADAC MX Masters starts its 20th season this weekend (20th-21st April) at Fürstlich Drehna in Brandenburg. Strong international and national contenders in the four racing classes, ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, promise a thrilling start to the series. Fans can watch the races both on site at the race track and via a free livestream at adac.de/mx-masters from 2:20 pm on Saturday and from 9:50 am on Sunday.
In the top ADAC MX Masters class, several riders have legitimate title ambitions. Foremost among them is reigning ADAC MX Masters champion Max Nagl (D/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek), whose goal is a hat-trick of titles. Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team) would like to finally take the championship crown in the new season after finishing as runner-up in 2023. Former champions Jordi Tixier (F, KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) and Henry Jacobi (D, KTM Sarholz Racing Team) also want to prevent Nagl from winning his third title in a row. Maximilian Spies (D, Kosak Racing Team) also has the potential to finish on the top rung of the podium after the three races in Fürstlich Drehna, on his home track and after a successful rookie season. Other favourites include Adam Sterry (GB, Schmicker Racing) after he switched teams, and ADAC MX Masters record champion Dennis Ullrich (D, KTM Sarholz Racing Team), who is making his comeback after a two-year absence from racing. Other top international riders include Kevin Brumann (CH/SixtySeven Racing Husqvarna), Davy Pootjes (NL/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek), Jakub Teresak (CZ/Enduro Koch Racing), Boris Maillard (F/stielergruppe.mx Johannes-Bikes Suzuki), Petr Polak (CZ/SHR Motorsports by Hartje), Gert Krestinov (EST/JT Construction Motoextreme Honda), Harri K ullas (EST/MX-Handel-Racing) and a number of top local riders such as Nico Koch (D/Becker Racing), Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Tim Koch (D/Visualz Production), Lukas Platt (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Paul Haberland (D/SHR Motorsports by Hartje) and Mike Stender (D/B&B Mallon Racing) are keen to be in the mix for the top spots. It will also be interesting to see how those promoted from a lower class perform, e.g. ADAC MX Youngster Cup champion Oriol Oliver Vilar (E/WZ-Racing KTM), Cato Nickel (D/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna), Mike Gwerder (CH/HTS KTM) and Marnique Appelt (D/Becker Racing).
In addition to the ADAC MX Masters class, the junior classes ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will also be competing in Fürstlich Drehna with around 240 entrants from 22 different countries. The ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes will each contest three races at the weekend, while the two ADAC MX Junior Cup classes will each have two races. The first races for championship points will take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance race.
A new pre-start will be making its debut at Fürstlich Drehna, with riders now making their final preparations directly behind the starting gate, in full view of the spectators. Fans can purchase their tickets at the box office or in advance online at msc-fuerstlich-drehna.de. Children aged six and over can gain their first motocross experience in three-hour taster courses by prior arrangement with the ADAC MX Academy ‘on tour’. Registration is possible online at adac-mx-academy.de. On Sunday from 11:30 am to 12:00 noon, Max Nagl, Tom Koch, Jordi Tixier and Maximilian Spies will be available to sign autographs at the ADAC MX Masters truck. On Saturday evening, from 8:00 pm, there will be the official race party with free admission and DJ Daniel Neuland in the festival tent, where there will also be a meet-and-greet with some of the top German riders.
All races from Fürstlich Drehna will be livestreamed free of charge. Numerous interviews between races will provide entertainment and up-to-date information. The livestream will be broadcast at adac.de/mx-masters. On Saturday, the programme begins at 2:20 pm, and on Sunday, the broadcast starts as early as 9:50 am.
The digital programme booklet, as well as schedules and entry lists, are available for download at adac.de/mx-masters.
