ADAC MX Youngster Cup: Greutmann triumphs in Holzgerlingen

Nico Greutmann achieved his goal for the year in the first race of the ADAC MX Youngster Cup at Holzgerlingen and also secured the championship title with this victory ahead of Jaroslav Katrinak (SK/MRA Racing Team) and Ryan Alexanderson (AU/WZ-Racing KTM). But Greutmann didn't let up, winning the second race ahead of Constantin Piller (D/Yamaha Meyer Racing) and only just losing to Alexanderson in the third race. Jaroslav Katrinak (SK/MRA Racing Team) finished third in the final two races to move up to third place in the overall standings, while Alexanderson claimed his first victory of the season to make it onto the podium for the first time. In the championship, Bradley Mesters (NL/Kosak Racing Team) replaced Bence Pergel (HU/HTS KTM), who was injured in the second race, in second place. ‘My main goal was to win the title on Saturday. It would have been nice to score maximum points as well, but I'm very satisfied with the weekend and the vocal support of the fans who travelled here specially from Switzerland,’ said Greutmann.

ADAC MX Junior Cup 125: Ernecker secures the title

Maximilian Ernecker secured the title in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 with a second place behind Gyan Doensen in the first race. But it was Doensen who dominated the weekend with two race wins. In the second race, he came out on top against the LS2 Best Qualifier Alessandro Gaspari (I/Kosak Racing Team) and Jekabs Kubulins (LVA/Yamaha) to win the day's race. He was followed by Gaspari and Vaclav Janout (CZ/Multi-Air Jama CZ RT), who finished third in the first race. Behind the champion Ernecker, Aron Katona (HU/HTS KTM) and Jayson van Drunen (NL/SHR Motorsports by Hartje) completed the top three in the standings. ‘My goal was to win the title, and I've achieved that. After the double retirement in Gaildorf, I'm glad to have made it. Now I'll take a short break before switching to the 250cc machine,’ said a relieved Ernecker.

Oppliger was followed home by Leok, Ernecker and Hahn in the championship standings. ‘I'm very happy with how my season has gone and over the moon about the title. I really liked the track here, even though it was difficult to ride. It feels great to end the year with an overall victory,’ beamed Oppliger.
