Round six of the ADAC MX Masters promises to produce many highlights in Gaildorf this weekend (3rd/4th August). All four classes – ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 start at the iconic racetrack known as “Auf der Wacht”. In the top class, championship leader Max Nagl (D/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) could mathematically wrap up the title with races to spare. Fans can look forward to the return of Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), as well as appearances by newly-crowned European champions Marcel Stauffer (A/Osicka MX Team) and Jakub Teresak (CZ/Enduro Koch Racing). In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, Nico Greutmann (CH/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna) is looking to extend his lead at the top of the table. The ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 returns to action in Gaildorf, having missed the last two events. Maximilian Ernecker (A/F4E Gasgas Junior Racing), who is unbeaten so far this season, is looking to continue his winning run in this class. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, Ryan Oppliger (CH/Oppliger Racing Sàrl) arrives in Gaildorf as championship leader.

In the top ADAC MX Masters class, Max Nagl has already opened a large enough lead to ensure that he would still top the table, even if he were to leave Gaildorf empty-handed. The comfortable 108-point advantage also means he could be crowned champion in Gaildorf, should his closest rivals Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Adam Sterry (GB/Schmicker Racing) fare particularly poorly in Gaildorf. However, Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team), Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Racing) and Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) are also still in with a mathematical chance of winning the title, and will be out to reduce the deficit to the championship leader. Of the leading riders, Cornelius Töndel (NO/Schmicker Racing) will be missing with an injured leg. Henry Jacobi, who impressed with a strong race in Gaildorf last year, returns to the series in his place. Jakub Teresak was crowned European champion in the Open class last weekend, while Marcel Stauffer won the two-stroke class to earn the title of European champion one week previous. Both start in Gaildorf. Another man with great intentions is Dennis Ullrich (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), who particularly likes the hard track in Gaildorf and has enjoyed many top results there in the past.

At the top of the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, a close battle is raging between the new championship leader Nico Greutmann and his pursuers Dave Kooiker (NL/Schmicker Racing), Maxime Grau (F/WZ-Racing KTM), Rasmus Pedersen (S/Rhino Racing Team), Bradley Mesters (NL/Kosak Racing Team) and Bence Pergel (HU/HTS KTM). In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125, riders like Aron Katona (HU/HTS KTM), Raivo Laicans (LV/Sturm STC Racing) and Mick Kennedy (NL/Grip Messer Racing Team) will be striving to end the winning run of table-topper Maximilian Ernecker, who has won every event so far. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, Ryan Oppliger, Lucas Leok (EST/Team #111) and Ricardo Bauer (A/MSC Imbach Racing Team) have emerged as the leading trio, bunched together tightly at the top of the table.

As well as the races, there will also be a full event programme for spectators at the track, including a fan mile, free access to the paddock, and a large party tent with live music on three evenings. The Yamaha Quad Parcours offers young visitors the opportunity to try their hand on small quads and PW50 bikes. They can also let off steam on the bouncy castle. From 11:45 to 12:15 on Sunday, Max Nagl, Maximilian Spies, Adam Sterry, Henry Jacobi and Marcel Stauffer will be at the ADAC MX Masters Truck to sign autographs for fans. In the party tent, Zillertal-based band “Höllawind” will kick off an entertaining evening at 20:00 on Friday. On Saturday, rock cover band “Lost Eden” will take to the stage. Bringing the curtain down on proceedings on Sunday will be popular local “DJ Horli”. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance online at the MSC Gaildorf ticket shop.

All the races in Gaildorf will be streamed live and free of charge. Between the races, a host of interviews will provide entertainment and the latest information. The livestream will be broadcast at adac.de/mx-masters. Coverage starts at 14:45 on Saturday, and at the earlier time of 09:50 on Sunday.
