Record champion returns to the ADAC MX Masters in 2024

Season 20 of the ADAC MX Masters will get underway, as planned, on 20th/21st April in Fürstlich Drehna. Fans can look forward to some thrilling racing: many entries have already been received for the new season in the ADAC MX Masters and its junior classes, including that of record ADAC MX Masters champion Dennis Ullrich. The deadline for riders to submit their entries is Thursday 15th February.

After an impressive ADAC MX Masters season, the cards have been shuffled again for 2024 and, with two weeks remaining until the deadline for entries, it is already looking like being another exciting year. Reigning champion Max Nagl (D/KMP Honda Racing powered by Krettek) is back to defend his title. That may be one reason for the racing comeback of five-time ADAC MX Masters champion Dennis Ullrich (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), as Nagl would draw level with him on five titles, were he to win another championship. Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) is back to full training after a successful shoulder operation, and has his sights set firmly on the title. Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Jordi Tixier (F/KMP Honda Racing powered by Krettek) have also confirmed that they will be racing again this year. Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) impressed in their rookie season in 2023, and are now looking to use the experience gained to have a say in the fight for the top three. More high-calibre riders from Germany and beyond have also signed up for the series, including German Motocross Open champion Tim Koch (D/VisuAlz Production), Nico Koch (D/Becker Racing), Stefan Ekerold (D/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna), Lukas Platt (D/ KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Davy Pootjes (NL/KMP Honda Racing powered by Krettek), Jakub Teresak (CZ/Hegau Racing Team), Gert Krestinov (EST/Motoextreme Honda) and Petr Polak (PL/SHR Motorsports). It will be intriguing to see how the top riders who have made the step up from the ADAC MX Youngster Cup fare in the top class: WZ-Racing KTM riders Oriol Oliver (E), Cato Nickel (D) and Mike Gwerder (CH) will all be contesting their rookie season in the ADAC MX Masters.

Riders and teams have until Thursday 15th February to secure a starting place for the 2024 season. The places in the four classes will be allocated between the entries received by that deadline. The junior cup classes are proving to be particularly popular. Anyone wishing to race in these competitions needs to get a move on. Entries received after the deadline can only be considered if starting places are available. Online entry is possible at adac.de/mx-masters. It is still possible to enter individual races after 15th February.
