Just one week after the season-opener, the ADAC MX Masters is in Dreetz, Brandenburg, this weekend (27th/28th April) for the second event of the season. The back-to-back races give the international and national riders and teams in the four classes – ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 – little time to recover physically or prepare the bikes. Although they will be find similarly sandy conditions in Dreetz as they faced at the opening round, the cards could still be reshuffled if some of the favourites are less unfortunate or make fewer mistakes than at the season-opener. Fans can watch the races at the track or follow them via a free livestream at adac.de/mx-masters from 14:30 on Saturday and 09:50 on Sunday.

In the top class, the ADAC MX Masters, reigning champion Max Nagl (D/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) starts as championship leader. However, Adam Sterry (GB/Schmicker Racing) denied the experienced Nagl a race win at the opening round, and has also coped very well with the conditions in Dreetz in the past. Sand-lover Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) is hoping that better starts will allow him to improve on third place in the championship. Rookie Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Racing) impressed with fourth place overall and a podium in one of the races. Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team) is hoping for a speedy recovery from the rib injury he picked up before the start of the season, as he looks to do more than just limit the damage in Dreetz. It is a similar story for Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) and Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), who both had big crashes last weekend and will be sporting wounds when they line up at the weekend. Oriol Oliver Vilar (E/WZ-Racing KTM) and Cornelius Töndel (NO/Schmicker Racing), who have both made the step up to the top class this year, impressed with podiums at the season-opener and also look more than capable of achieving top results. Many other top national and international riders make for a strong ADAC MX Masters class with great strength in depth, which should once again guarantee exciting racing.

As well as the ADAC MX Masters class, all the junior classes will also be in action again in Dreetz. In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, Edvards Bidzans (LV/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) is in prime position as the championship leader. However, he will face stiff opposition from the likes of Bradley Mesters (NL/Kosak Racing Team), Rasmus Pedersen (DK/Rhino Racing Team) and Nicolai Skovbjerg (DK/Wozniak MX Racing Team).

Maximilian Ernecker (A/F4E Gasgas Junior Racing) won two races in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 to pick up maximum points. However, he also benefitted from crashes involving his potential rivals, including class rookie Aron Katona (HU/HTS KTM) and Tomass Saicans (LV/MX Magnum). Jonathan Frank (D/Becker Racing), who finds himself third in the championship, also has potential to claim top results.

In the youngest class, the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, Lucas Leok (EST/Team #111) will sport the Red Plate of the championship leader. However, he has already been beaten in one race by Ryan Oppliger (CH/Oppliger Racing Sàrl). The line-up in Dreetz features a host of talented youngsters, including Ricardo Bauer (A/KTM), Oliver Jüngling (D/ ADAC Hessen-Thüringen MX Rookie Team/Kosak Racing Team), Soren Winter (DK/Mefo Sport Racing Team) and Moritz Ernecker (A/HSV Ried Racing Team).

The ADAC MX Masters class and the ADAC MX Youngster Cup will each contest three races at the weekend, while the two ADAC MX Junior Cup classes each roll up to the starting gate for two races. The first races with championship points up for grabs take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance Race.

The off-track programme organised by MC Dreetz e.V. gives young visitors the opportunity to try out small quads and PW50 bikes on the Yamaha Quad Track. Fans can purchase tickets for the races at reduced prices online now from vorstart.de. Camping is possible for spectators. From 11:30 to 12:00 on Sunday, Max Nagl, Tom Koch, Adam Sterry, Maximilian Spies and Noah Ludwig will attend an autograph session at the ADAC MX Masters Truck.

All the races in Dreetz will be streamed live and free of charge. Numerous interviews will provide entertainment and information between the races. The livestream will be broadcast at adac.de/mx-masters. Coverage begins at 14:30 on Saturday and at the earlier time of 09:50 on Sunday.
