While the MotoGP title race enters the dramatic closing stages of the 2024 season, promoter Dorna and the International Motorcycle Federation FIM have released the provisional 2025 calendar for the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. Next year’s programme features a total of 22 Grands Prix. The only German round of the world championship will take place from 11th to 13th July at the Sachsenring. The race weekend in Hohenstein-Ernstthal is a real crowd-puller: this year, 252,826 visitors flocked to the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany and, as well as creating an impressive atmosphere, set a crowd record for the third year in a row.
The 2025 season kicks off in Thailand for the first time. From 28th February to 2nd March, the MotoGP stars will contest the first Grand Prix of the year at Chang International Circuit in Buri Ram. The finale takes place from 14th to 16th November in Valencia, Spain. Over the course of the season, the motorcycle world championship will visit 18 countries in five continents.
Tickets for next year’s Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany start at € 39 and are available online at adac.de/motogp. Admission to the MotoGP event in Saxony is free for under 14s when accompanied by an adult.
